To support the earthworks and groundworks operations of our valued clients in Sussex, Coastal Concrete Ltd can offer a professional muck away service to facilitate spoil removal. This is a responsive grab hire and tipper truck solution for managing large-scale material volumes where a more traditional method, such as hiring skips or containers, isn’t sufficient for the amount of spoil generated. We supply the plant, the machinery and the labour.
Choose us for muck away services in the following areas:
Arundel | Bognor Regis | Lancing | Littlehampton | Rustington | Worthing
Muck away is a term used to describe the removal of hardcore, rubble and topsoil from site following the earthmoving phase of a construction project.
We trade with the appropriate waste carrier’s licence.
A grab lorry has a 6m reach so, should you need us to remove spoil in areas with limited access, this won’t be a problem. The lorry itself is manned by a trained driver and operator. For smaller collections, the hydraulic arm on a fleet vehicle will load waste onto the lorry’s bed. For larger consignments, we can dispatch and load tipper trucks for faster and more efficient removals.
There is much more to our services in Sussex than simply dealing in concrete.

When you call Coastal Concrete Ltd to arrange a booking, we listen to your needs, confirm your expected waste volumes and build an understanding of how you generate spoil. Based on the timescale of your operations and any needs you might have with regards to enabling other operations onsite, we confirm our availability and provide a collection date at a suitable time.
To make muck away operations more efficient, it is helpful to let us know the location of the spoil you need us to collect. To facilitate any large-scale earthmoving needs you might have, it is common for us to pay a personal visit to your site so we can establish exactly what it is that needs to be done.
Uplifted spoil collected in the Arundel, Bognor Regis, Lancing, Littlehampton, Rustington and Worthing areas is taken to licensed waste transfer stations.
It is reassuring to know that the material derived from a muck away project rarely goes to waste. The facilities we use can recycle in excess of 90% of collected spoil by screening and processing our consignments, then putting material back into secondary production in the form of recycled aggregates.
